The 2011 Intelligent Zhejiang Technology Forum was held today in Hangzhou. Insigma Technology Co. Ltd., IBM and Zhejiang University signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Building Zhejiang Green and Intelligent City Joint R & D Center. Meanwhile, Zhoushan Municipal Government, IMB and Insigma Technology Co. Ltd. signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Promoting Scientific and Technological Cooperation. Mr. Mao Guanglie, Vice Governor of Zhejiang Province, addressed the meeting.
It is pointed out at the meeting that, the building of Intelligent Zhejiang reflects the trend of information and science and technology development in the future. With the province s solid foundation in informationization and scientific innovation, Intelligent Zhejiang shows great promise in the new stage of economic and social development.
It is hoped that by working together with such global leading IT enterprise as IBM, the province will be able to lead and promote the development of new industries of strategic importance, accelerate economic transformation and upgrade, build service-oriented government, and improve the quality of life of common people so as to improve the core competitiveness of the province in an all-around manner.
