The month-long 2011 China (Hangzhou) West Lake International Tea Culture Expo will kick off on March 25th. The city government, in coordination with the 2nd World Leisure Expo, is to publicize Chinese Longjing tea culture to visitors from home and abroad and fully display the eco-environmental resources in the urban and suburban areas of Hangzhou as well as her harmonious life quality through this annual event. Promoting Tea Culture and Experiencing Leisure Life is the theme of this year s Tea Culture Expo. The upcoming expo consists of 19 major programs and five series of activities, including the Opening Ceremony of the West Lake International Tea Culture Expo & Opening of West Lake Longjing Tea Festival, the 2011 Promoting the Intangible Cultural Heritage of West Lake Longjing Tea & Tea-Stirring King Contest, the 2011 Qinghefang Folk Tea Feast, the 2011 Hangzhou the 3rd National Tea Day, and the Closing Ceremony of the 2011 Tea Expo & the 10th China Tea Saint Festival.
