The Provincial Environmental Radiation Monitoring Station has generated 12 batches of monitoring data up till 13:00 p.m., March 17th, which indicate no abnormal level of radiation to the environment of Zhejiang. Meanwhile, the Provincial Environmental Radiation Monitoring Station monitored for the first time Zhejiang s sea area today, detecting no radioactive nuclear substances and therefore indicating that Zhejiang s sea area is uncontaminated. It is learned from the Provincial Environmental Protection Bureau that concerted efforts are being made to closely follow the development of the situation and publicize the monitoring result in a timely manner in accordance with instruction from the superior departments and requirements for emergency monitoring plans and procedures.
