The book Conosci la Cina was launched yesterday in Lendinara City Hall in Province of Rovigo, Italy. The book was co-published by Zhejiang Photographic Press, and Cafoscarina Press in Italy.
Conosci la Cina is a popular reader, introducing the history and current situations, physical geography and humanistic traditions in China, edited by Professor Li Xuemei, a Chinese educator living in Italy for over 20 years. The book is comprised of 13 chapters, profiling famous mountains and great rivers, ancient myths and fables, and spoken and written languages in China to promote understanding and enthusiasm about China in the Chinese children born and raised in Italy and Italian friends from all walks of life.
Li Xuemei is currently a professor in the Department of Translation, University of Venice, and president of the Italian-Chinese Golden Dragon Association (dell'Associazione Italo-Cinese Drago d'Oro) in Italy.
