2011 Zhejiang-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Top Talent Fair kicked off at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) on the afternoon of March 26. 74 universities, big enterprises and institutions in urgent need of talents in the service industry offered 1026 posts to Hong Kong citizens at the fair.
By the end of the half-day fair, more than 1000 top talents in the modern service industry had applied for the posts, 156 with a doctoral degree, 165 with the initial intention, and 8 having signed the agreement to work in Zhejiang.
It had been 3 years in succession that Zhejiang recruited top talents in the service industry from Hong Kong, said Chen Zhong, Director of the provincial Office of Talent Market Administration. The number of Hong Kong citizens visiting the talent fair has been increasing year by year, this year being the most fruitful.
