The 26th Teacher s Day celebration was grandly held on Sep.9 in Lanzhou to commend the outstanding teachers. Secretary Lu Hao of the CPC Gansu Provincial Committee and Liu Weiping, acting governor and deputy secretary of the CPC Gansu Provincial Committee were present at the meeting and awarded prizes and honors to the outstanding groups and individuals.
A golden medal was conferred on Yan Quizhen, winner of the National Outstanding Primary and Middle School Young Teachers by Secretary Lu Hao of the CPC Gansu Provincial Committee.
