The Third Session of the 11th Gansu Provincial People s Congress grandly opened in Lanzhou on the morning of January 25. Four hundred and seventy-four representatives were present at the meeting.
Lu Hao, Secretary of the CPC Gansu Provincial Committee, announced the opening.
Governor Xu Shousheng delivered the Government Work Report, which consisted of four parts: the Work Review of the year 2009; the objectives of struggle and key tasks for the year 2010; guarantee measures and pushing forward the self-construction of the government.
