Much attention will be paid to the comprehensive treatment of the ecological environment of WeiheRiver in order to further improve the townscape of Yangling. According to the schedule, an eco-garden city with beautiful waterside landscape and well-equipped facilities will build up in five years by focusing on such projects like improving the water quality of WeiheRiver, strengthening the ecological construction and building riverside parks and wetland reserves. The new city will be a perfect choice for travelers, businessmen and researchers.
Located in the middle and upper reaches of WeiheRiver in ShaanxiProvince, Yangling is flowed along by the river 11.8 kilometers in length. Yangling is north to WeiheRiver, while Zhouzhi County of Xi an City and Mei County of BaojiCity in ShaanxiProvince on the South. The area from Yangling to Zhouzhi County the River run through, Yangling Demonstration Zone along banks of the River, the area along the River in Zhouzhi County, is referred as One River Two Banks , which will be the focus of Yangling s landscape construction.
According to the plan, Yamhling will construct the area north to WeiheRiver into functional districts, the southern area into leisure zone, the area of riverbed to an ecological landscape corridor. And the riverside landscape belt will be also built along the dike. What s more, there will be a sport center and Hehu theme park on either side of the dike.
