Also in Yanglin, China s largest company in meat industry Jiangsu Yurun Group had invested 600 million yuan to construct the two million live pigs butcher and meat product processing project. The main workshop has been completed. After completion, the project will be the largest meat product production base in northwest China. This is also the model project of Yurun Group will highest construction standards.
Portugal-based Ameren International Group, one of Global 500 enterprises and world s largest cork product production company, set up cork processing base in Yangling. American Jiaji Group, one of Global 500 enterprises and world s largest agricultural company, had invested 15 million dollars to set up the feedstuff processing project with the annual production capacity of 150,000 tons in Yangling.

With the entry of feedstuff enterprises such as American Jiayi, Shanghai New Hope and Shiyang Feedstuff, in addition to existing Huaqin Feedstuff, Yangling s feedstuff industry has relatively higher concentration degree and develops towards favorable trend.

On June 5, CPC Shaanxi Provincial Committee and Shaanxi Provincial People s Government emphasized in the Opinions on Implementing and Acting in the Replies of the State Council that we shall construct Yangling Demo Area into a strategic highland for development of agriculture-related industry of Shaanxi and China s top-tier and world renowned agricultural technology innovation city with the construction of scientific Yangling, talented Yangling, gardening Yangling and rich Yangling as the target.
Today s Yangling is well prepared and boasts the basis and conditions for accelerated development.
On May 28, Yangling and the Department of Commerce of Shaanxi Province signed an agreement for co-established of Shaanxi Taiwan Businessmen Industrial Park. In the future, Yangling will focus on developing of advantageous industries such as bio-industry, green food, and energy conservation and environmental protection to promote cluster development of main industries. The agriculture technology city in the past will become national modern agriculture high-tech industrial base and new industrialization industry demo base.
