On 23rd May, the performance of intangible cultural heritage from Zhongshan, including the high prop lion show, Sha xi crane dance and Changzhou drunken dragon show, rehearsed in the city square of district E of Shanghai Expo and attracted people from all around.
It s perfect , a French couple gave a high praise after watching the rehearsal. In the trial running of the pavilion, visitors were greatly fascinated by unique Zhongshan elements, such as the statue of Xu Rongcun and Zheng Guanying, two first Chinese in World Expo, and the wonderful performance of intangible culture heritage. Although these cultural fragments seem trivial in the stage of World Expo, they are meaningful to Zhongshan as they carry the profound memory with the World Expo. They not only belong to Zhongshan, also to China and the world.
