Railway stations and coach terminals in Dongguan have seen an increasing passenger flow since Wednesday, as hundreds of thousands of students, migrant workers and tourists return to work or study after the traditional Spring Festival.

Passengers from other parts of China arrive at Dongguan East Railway Station on Feb. 18th, 2010. Migrant workers are returning to Dongguan after spending the Spring Festival holiday in their hometowns.

Friday was the last day of the official seven-day Chinese Lunar New Year holiday, and 60 thousand people returned to Dongguan via railways and a further 40 thousand via highways, according to a report of Dongguan Times on Saturday. Among them, the three coach terminals in Dongguan received almost 32 thousand passengers on a single day.
