Parts of Guangzhou Asian Games sports tickets will be open for global sales from 10:00 am of May 20th. The public in Dongguan can buy tickets at the 22 branchs of ICBC bank around the city.
There are nearly 200,000 tickets to be sold in this phase. And 13 competition events of these would-be-sold tickets include: athletics, badminton, cycling - BMX, golf, judo, rhythmic gymnastics, roller sports, rowing, shooting - shotgun, table tennis, trampoline, triathlon and wrestling. There will be 68 sessions in all. Except A-category tickets of badminton finals priced at 600 RMB, other tickets are priced between 10 and 400 RMB.
General public may either go onto the Official Ticketing website (tickets.gz2010.cn) for tickets reservation or go to one of 400 ICBC bank outlets nationwide (including Macau SAR) to submit Tickets Ordering Application Form (no commission charge), followed by a Reservation Confirmation Letter, which guarantees the purchase of entry right for each sports session.
In order to facilitate the reservation process, Ticketing Center has set forth the following announcements:
1. Personal account is requisite when making reservations on Official Ticketing Website, which was open since last December. Due to the website s system upgrading between May 14th and 20th, it is highly advisable to register a personal account before May 14th to ensure tickets reservation after May 20th.
2. One person is entitled to submit one Tickets Ordering Application Form each time. And each Application Form ensures reservations of sports tickets for at most 10 session. Each session ensures 2 to 5 tickets.
3. Payment system of official ticketing website will be available for credit cards, debit cards of 6 national banks including ICBC, as well as on-line payment of foreign-currency credit cards of Visa or Mastercard which are available for Verified by Visa (VbV) or MasterCard Securecode . Official tickets sales outlets are only available for payments from current deposit books, credit cards, debit cards issued by ICBC. And cash payers are advised to open a current deposit book from ICBC beforehand.
4. The general public are properly guided in reservation in Ticket Sales system as per the sales process of each session.
5. The public are well informed with tickets policies, competition schedules, venues information, sales outlets information and FAQ through official website and ticketing Hotline.
