A cold front from north will arrive in Dongguan today, bringing high winds and a drop in temperatures of 4 to 7 degrees, according to the Dongguan Meteorological Center.
cloudy days are forecasted for this week, coupled by light rains which will bring the minimum temperature down to 11 degrees Celsius. Low temperatures will last to Friday before the mercury begins to climb.
The observatory reminded residents, especially the elderly and children with respiratory diseases, to be aware of the temperature change and keep warm.
