ECUST  Vice  President  Attends  Irish  Trade  Delegation  Breakfast  Reception

Vice-President Ma of ECUST attended on invitation a breakfast reception organized by Ireland trade delegation at Le Royal Meridien Shanghai on Oct.22, 2008.
Headed by the Prime Minister of Ireland, Brian Cowen, the trade delegation, sponsored by Enterprise Bureau of Ireland, included about 100 local enterprises and other institutions of Ireland. Other distinguished participants were the Minister of Trade Dep. of Ireland, the Minister of Education and Science and Technology Dep. of Ireland and the general consul of Irish General Consulate in Shanghai.
After the reception, Vice President Ma signed a memorandum of cooperation between the University of Limerick and East China University of Science and Technology. According to the Memo, the two schools would first exchange teachers which meant a professor from the University of Limerick would have a short-term visit to ECUST and give lectures in 2009.
