About the Lecturer:
Gu Mingyuan is a famous educator in China. He is the current President of the Chinese Society of Education, Chair Professor at Beijing Normal University, and a supervior of Ph.D. students at the Beijing Normal University Institute of International and Comparative Education. He is Vice Director of the Ministry of Education Social Science Committee, Director of the Ministry of Education Committee of Teachers and Education Specialists, and Vice Director of the Ministry of Education State Education Research and Development Center Specialist Consultant Conference. He is the head of the second subject group working on a strategy for National Education Reform and Development Long and Medium-term Program (2010 2020). Professor Gu's main research interests are the comparison of international education thinking and methods and education theory. He is the editor-in-chief of The Great Dictionary of Education and The Great Encyclopedia of World Education.
