Noam Chomsky: Contours of World Order

Peking University, Sept. 1, 2010: At the invitation of Peking University, Noam Chomsky, a world-renowned linguist, philosopher, and professor of MIT, visited Peking University on Aug. 13. He was conferred an honorary doctorate degree of Peking University and then gave a speech titled "Contours of World Order" at PKU Hall.

The visit and public lecture of Prof. Chomsky is sponsored by Peking University, and co-sponsored by Beijing Forum among other institutes. This is another major academic activity that Beijing Forum co-organizes following the academic dialogue between Homi Bhabha and Tu Weiming on May 20.
