President of Tasly, Dr.Xi-jun Yan, awarded greatest news people of Chinese reform

On Dec. 20th,the 3rd New Century Chinese Reformers Awarding Conference was convened in Beijing. At this meeting, Mr. Xi-jun Yan, president of Tasly Group, was announced as one of the ten greatest news people in Chinese reform. He becomes the only one person who got the awarding in Tianjin this year.

Mr. Tie-nong Zhou, Vise Chairman of Committee of Chinese People s Political Consultative Conference, Mr. Bu-he, the vise chief-committeeman of the 9th National People's Congress Council, and Mr. Shang-quan Gao, the Dean of China Economical System Reforming Researching Institute were present at the meeting and awarded the cups.

This conference was associatively hosted by the Reform of Chinese Economical System magazine, China Social Science Institute, China Information newspaper and the committee of the competition. The mission of the activity is to apperceive the new thinking, new development and new track of Chinese reforming from a view of global development and to find out the excellent persons and their impressive stories in order to promote the process of Chinese Reforming. The committee selected 10 greatest reforming news people, 100 excellent people and several reformers form all of Chinese enterprises. Among all the awards, News people award is at the highest level.Mr. Xi-jun Yan, who is recipient for special expert allowance by the State Department and awardee of Peace Messenger titled by the United Nations Peace Organization, led Tasly people to found the largest TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) manufacturing base and had made remarkable contribution to the development and modernization of TCM.

At this meeting, Mr. Yan said the award was an encouragement for himself and his enterprise and he would do his best to promote the process the development of Modern TCM and to increase its competitive ability in the global medicine markets.
