Yantai Wanhua honored as 2007 CCTV Best Employer in China

The results of "2007CCTV Best Employer in China" appraisal activity hosted by CCTV-2 were made known on January 26, 2008. 10 enterprises got the award, including Yantai Wanhua, China Southern Airlines, China Vanke Co., Ltd., Hunan Greatdreams Cartoon Media Limited Company, Fuyao Glass, Novartis China, Dalian Zhangzidao Fishery Group Co., Ltd., Yili Group, Opple Lighting Co., Ltd. and Yum! Brands Inc.

Min Enze, the academician who won the National Award for Science and Technology, awarded the cup of "2007CCTV Best Employer in China" to Yantai Wanhua, and highly praised Yantai Wanhua. He said, "I never thought there would be such a good chemical enterprise in China. As in the Yangtze River the waves behind drive on those before, so each new generation excels the last one.

The appraisal activity of CCTV Best Employer in China was initiated by CCTV-2 in 2005 and "2007CCTV Best Employer in China" appraisal took "to find out the enterprises with the most charisma" as its theme. The above enterprises got this award due to their outstanding performance in such fields as scientific innovation, staff care and social responsibilities, etc., and so was Wanhua, who got the award due to its excellent performance in scientific innovation.
