On 16 December 2007, CCCC Forth Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. signed Phrase I Baoman Container Terminal and Oil Product Terminal construction contracts with Zhanjiang Port Group Co. The contract value amounts to RMB 393 million.
The two projects are both invested by Zhanjiang Port Group Co. With regard to Phrase I Baoman Container Terminal, the contract value is RMB 286 million with construction period of 26 months. It is mainly composed of one 50,000t-class container terminal, where the shoreline, bank protection, and cofferdam are 678m, 230m and 592m long, respectively.
As for the Oil Product Terminal, the contract value is RMB 107 million with construction period of 390 days. It includes building one 300,000t crude oil duck, one 20,000t oil product berth, and two 5,000t oil product terminals. The shoreline and approach bridge are 1009m and 877m long, respectively.
