Launch of 200 Yutong buses kicks off in Sudan

On the morning of July 10, the launch of 200 Yutong city buses kicked off on Green Space, the largest square of Sudan's capital city Khartoum.

The vice president of Sudan, minister of Transport, state governor of Khartoum and other government officials attended the launching ceremony, and delivered passionate speeches respectively.

200 tidy and eye-catching Yutong buses lined on the square with one decorated with flowers and pink ribbons.

Thousands of citizens from all sectors of society came to see the buses. The Yutong service staffs in blue work clothes were busy with introducing Yutong buses and demonstrating different functions of them.

After the ceremony, the 200 Yutong city buses began their formal operation according to the set routes and formed a mobile landscape in the streets of Khartoum, bringing pleasant cool generated by the roof-mounted air conditioners to bus takers.

Before the ceremony was held, AKHIR LAHZA, the largest local newspaper, had reported the upcoming launching ceremony of 200 Yutong buses on the front page and elaborated the configurations and functions of the buses as well as Yutong s service in Sudan with a full page. In the evening of the day when the ceremony was held, many local TV stations broadcast the big event. The next day, AKHIR LAHZA and other major newspapers covered the launching ceremony on the front page.
