China Longyuan Power successfully held press conference on its first anniversary of listing

On Dec. 10, China Longyuan Power Group Corporation Ltd. held the news conference on the first anniversary of its listing in Beijing. At the conference, as the chief spokesman, Xie Changjun, executive director and GM of China Longyuan Power, introduced the company s business performance in the past year and its development ideas and plans in the future.

Meanwhile, he gave answers to the reporters. Some officers of China Longyuan Power including Tian Shicun, executive director, Li Hongmei, chief accountant, Fei Zhi, deputy GM attended the conference. Fei Zhi presided the conference. 26 domestic media and 11 foreign media, such as People s Daily, Xinhua News Agency and Reuters attend it.

Firstly, Mr. Xie made an introduction to the company. By the end of Nov. 2010, the company s new installation of wind power connected to the grid in 2010 had reached 1,011MW. It was expected that the new wind power installation of the whole year would amount to 2,000MW. Consequently, the company would achieve the 10 billion KWh target of wind power generation and surpass the profit target of the whole year.

During the period of the 12^th Five-Year Plan , the company would greatly develop wind power, actively push forward the development of solar energy, vigorously trace the technological development of other renewable energy resources, such as tidal energy and geothermal energy. Finally it was to form the new situation with wind power generation playing a dominant role and multiple types of new energy generation developing side by side.

After the introduction, in replying to the reporters, Mr. Xie answered some questions, such as offshore wind power development and its benefit, annual launch plan of wind power, CDM development, planning of PV generation and power brownout.
