The first excavator in China with 21.8-meter extended arm independently developed by Sany Heavy Machinery was delivered to a client in Nanjing on April 5, and was immediately commissioned to the construction of Nanjing subway.
It is learned that this excavator with 21.8-meter extended arm has a maximum excavating radius of 21-meter, a maximum excavating height of 16.5-meter, a maximum excavating depth of 17-meter, and a bucket capacity of 0.4 cubic meters. It is a locally branded excavator with the longest arm in China.
The machine boasts optimized overall system configuration, readily imported name-brand engines, and readily imported electronically controlled negative-flow hydraulic pressure system. Through intellectual electric control system, it realizes comprehensive control over power, hydraulic pressure, and electric devices to substantially save energy consumption as well as to improve operational efficiency.
According to a Mr. Wei, an operator, Sany excavator is much more superior in cost, job, and fuel efficiencies as well as in operational comfort if compared with two imported models he used to work with.
This excavator is equipped with extra-long arm and extra-long bucket, particularly fitful for constrained operational ground environments such as dredging, bank protection, on-slope projects, and subway building. Currently numerous projects have been launched across the country to build subway system, and to dredge rivers for environmental protection, excavators extended arms are seen in great demands. With this newly developed model with extraordinary stability and cost efficiency, Sany is expected to claim conspicuous share on this segmented prospers market.
