Recently,our province held the firsttourism promotion meeting inHaikou City,Hainan Province. Thetourism promotion activity wasorganizedby Tourism Bureauof Jilin Province, in conjunction with the inauguration ceremony for Jilin Chamber of Commerce in Hainan Province.Participants of theactivity included the responsible persons from JilinProvincial Party CommitteePublicity Department, theProvincial People's CongressFinanceCommittee and therelevant provincial departments, the responsible persons from relevant cities (prefectures), Changbai Mountain Administrative Committee and some of the county (city)governments and tourist administrations, the responsible persons from 6 tourism development zones in the province, the responsible persons of relevanttourism enterprises, the responsible persons from Hainan Provincial TourismCommission, the responsible persons from the tourism enterprisein Hainan Province, and members of Jilin Chamber of Commercein Hainan Province, etc. At the meeting, the responsible person from Tourism Bureauof Jilin Province carried outtourism promotion themed by "Four season fun, wonderfulJilin". Jilin Province boasts rich tourism resources and four distinct seasons, and it is a summerresort in summer and snowparadise in winter.During this winter andthe Spring Festival, Jilin Provincewill launchsuch two themed events as "celebrating the Spring Festival in Jilin" and "going skiingin Jilin". The superiorgeographical environmentof Jilin Province form thesuperior snowresources,which are characterized by large quantityof snow, soft snow,moderate temperatures and long available time, so it is known as a "ski paradise". Changbai Mountain Administrative Committee and Tourism Bureau of Baishan City respectively promotedtheir tourism projects. Yalong Bay is famous in the South, while Changbai Mountain is famous in the north. The tourism resourcesof Jilin andHainan are highly complementary. The tourism resourcesof Jilin Province cause astrong interest among the tourism enterprisesof Hainan. At the promotion meeting, thetourism industrydelegates from Hainanand Jilinconducted businessexchange, and both parties were committed toestablish a good workingrelationship. The tourism sectorsand tourism enterprises in the two places will promote cooperation between travel agencies and tourist attractions, achieve information sharing andpassenger sourceinteraction,jointly package and promote fine tourist routes, and co-develop the market. |
