Wen Jiabao said that for a long time, Jilin Province has made a significant contribution to national food security, among the national top ten major grain-producing counties, six are in Jilin Province, but many grain-producing counties face the problem of small finance revenue and poor economy. To develop grain production, the most critical is to rely on the enthusiasm of farmers. We should continue to improve the minimum purchase price and the temporary purchasing and storage system, to protect the interests of farmers and protect the farmers from suffering losses.

Jilin is a major ecological province with beautiful natural scenery, which impressed Wen Jiabao. Wetland plays a very important role in conserving water, regulating climate, degrading pollution and conserving biological diversity, so Jilin must do a good job in wetland protection.
