After a short lunch, there was a one-on-one Q&A between delegates from Chinese enterprises and Canadian experts. Both side exchanged their opinions over financing and going public in Canada for Chinese companies.

One of the remarkable results of this event is that two MOUs were respectively signed by Inner-Mongolia Financial Office and Shanxi Office of Listed Enterprises with TSX.

According to the event, TSX issuers raised $46 billion in 2005, which is the third highest value of financings among members of the World Federation of Exchanges. At the same time, as a public venture capital marketplace for emerging companies, TSX Venture Exchange has approximately 2,200 issuers represented a diverse mix of industry sectors, including industrial, life sciences, technology and financial services. To accommodate emerging companies with different needs and financial pressures than larger and established businesses, TSX Venture Exchange is using the traditional initial public offering (IPO), Reverse take-over (RTO) and a unique Capital Pool Company (CPC) program to help these companies going public. In 2005, the volume of trade on TSX achieved 64.2 billion shares and value is about 1.1 trillion Canadian Dollars; on TSX Venture Exchange, the volume of trade is about 21.5 million shares and the value is 15.7 million Canadian Dollars.
