Feng Changgen Appointed NUC Honorary Professor

On July 3, 2009, Feng Changgen, Secretariat of China Association for Science and Technology (CAST), came to NUC on invitation and gave two reports on How to be a Good Advisor and How to lay a solid foundation for scientific research based career . NUC leaders, President Zhang Wendong, Vice-Presidents Xiao Zhongliang, Liu Youzhi and Sheng Xingquan, were present at the report, together with NUC advisors and graduates. NUC Vice-President Liu Youzhi presided the meeting.

At the meeting, NUC President Zhang Wendong issued the Honorary Professor Letter for Professor Feng Changgen.

During the speech How to lay a solid foundation for scientific research based career , he emphasized that to the graduate student, processing teacher-student relationship, overcoming time trap, raising efficiently their own academic document and expressing one s ideas are the 4 elements of foundation of successful scientific research career.
