SHANXI UNIVERSITY DELEGATION TO ARMENIA TO CELEBRATE 75TH ANNIVERSARY OF YEREVAN STATE LINGUISTIC UNIVERSITY AFTER BRUSOV

From 16-18 November, Yerevan State Linguistic University after Brusov ushered her seventy-fifth anniversary celebration. The General Director of China Confucius Institute Headquarters of NOCFL Ms. Xu Lin telegraphed congratulations to the university on the 75th anniversary of its founding. President of Shanxi University Guo Guichun also sent his Letter of Congratulations. In his letter, President Guo praised its support for the Confucius Institute of the university to promote Chinese language and culture in Armenia. With the profound friendship of teachers and students, Mr. Yu Guodong, director of the Foreign Affairs Department of our university, came to the Capital of Armenia to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the State language and Culture University with the Confucius Institute of the University. The Dean and the teachers of the institute began preparations for the Chinese dance and Chinese martial arts performances a month ago. They also entrusted the Chinese painting and calligraphy teacher Zhang Jinzhi to draw a painting entitled Peacock and Peony with the implication of good wishes that the university would continue to thrive and flourish.
