Japanese Professors Visited CQMU

CQMU???s guest professors Takakubo Yutaka and Hirasawa Katsuhiko from Commerce College of Nippon University visited our university in March 2010 and attended an academic exchange activity. On behalf of CQMU, Vice President Xie Peng expressed warm welcome and presented gifts with local features to the guests. The activity was presided by Liu Li, co-director of Basic Medical College. Alao present at the activity were leading members of Foreign Affairs Office, Publicity Department, Basic Medical College, Health Management College and teachers and students from Health Management College.

Professor Xie Peng mentioned,in his welcome speech, that the long history of Sino-Japanese exchanges played a positive role in promoting economic, political, cultural, scientific and technological development between the two countries, and this activity was aimed at international academic exchanges. Furthermore, Professor Xie said that there was an urgent need of the overall integration of different disciplines, and he hoped that scholars from the two countries join hands together to forge the mutual academic exchanges and cooperation to a higher stage.

The two Japanese professors introduced famous Kyoto snacks especially brought from Japan and gave the teachers and students a few lectures: ???Modern Stock Company and the Management???, ???Technical Structure of the Market and Oriental Management???, ???The Practical Problems of Hospital as Non-profit Organization???, ???Relevance between Japanese Business Management Culture and Confucianism???, ???How to Improve the Spirit of Alma Mater???.

During their visit, the Japanese guests also visited National Engineering Rrsearch Center, Jinyun campus as well as Chongqing Three Gorges Museum. They showed strong interest in what they visited and hoped to have further exchanges and cooperation with CQMU.
