Vice President Wang Zhong Visits Edgewood College

On January 28-29, Vice President Wang Zhong visited Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin, USA. During the meeting with President Dr. Daniel Carey and Vice President Mary Kelly-Powell, President Carey spoke highly of the efforts both institutions have made in boosting the establishment of a partnership. President Carey also expressed the belief that future cooperation would be beneficial to both institutions.
Wang also held a discussion on collaborative programs with Andrea Byrum, Director of Global Education, Professor Dean Pribbenow, Director of the School of Integrative Studies, Professor Nicole Miller of Overseas Studies and Professor Fu Fenfen, Director of Asia Affairs. Both institutions show great interest in 4+2 master s degree joint programs, short-term faculty director visits, correspondence regarding teaching experience, undergraduate student exchanges and summer/winter break visits.
