Visit of the Mayor of North Vancouver, Canada to HZU

On the morning of October 21, the Mayor of the City of North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, Mr. Darrell Roger Mussatto, led a delegation to Huizhou University. After a warm welcome for the Delegation from President Yang Haitao, Vice President Xu Wanhong a-nd leaders from the Party Committee Office, President s Office, Foreign Affairs Office, Technology & Research Department and Educati-onal Administration Office, a working meeting was held in the conference room.
During the meeting, President Yang introduced the delegation to the inner workings of HZU. He especially talked about student recruiti-ng, employment after graduation, and further study after graduation. He described his vision for HZU teaching facilities, international s-chooling and personnel training.
Mr. Mussatto expressed his sincere thanks to HZU, and at the same time, he spoke about his hopes for further cooperation in the futu-re.
The mayor mentioned that the twinning of the two cities and the agreement between our two universities will greatly facilitate a strong future relationship.
