Foreign Students Achieved Big Success in the 6th Guangzhou Friendship Games

The 6^th Guangzhou Friendship Games 2009 was held on November 28^th and 29^th at JinanUniversity. The games included basketball, soccer, tennis, badminton and table tennis. More than 600 Guangzhou expatriates from 43 different countries and areas competed along with 300 Chinese athletes in the games.

South China Agricultural University was represented by a contingent of 52 foreign students in these games. The foreign students won the 5^th prize for basketball as well as the runner-up and 4^th prize for soccer. Our students also got champion for badminton in Men s Double, and 3^rd and 6^th prize for badminton in Men s Single while the players won the 3^rd prize for table tennis during this event.
