Dalhousie Assistant Vice-Chancellor Visited SDUST

Keith F. Taylor, Assistant Vice-Chancellor of Dalhousie University, Canada visited SDUST on October 19th.
Vice-President Wang Zhigang met with the Canadian guest and introduced to Mr. Taylor SDUST s history and recent development. He said that SDUST has formed ties with quite a number of international higher learning institutions, and Mr. Taylor s visit shall, with a purpose to initiate a joint education program between the two universities, surely help promote bilateral cooperations.
Mr. Taylor briefed Dalhousie s size, its faculty and other information. He hoped that progress could be made concerning the joint education program. He also had in-depth discussions with deans of College of Information Science and Engineering and College of Resources and Environmental Engineering respectively, covering issues of 2+2 joint education programs of statistics and mining engineering undergraduates.
