The President Liu Xincheng s Congratulations to Professor Ren Dong on His Great Research Achievements

On November 11th, 2009, the president Liu Xincheng visited Professor Ren Dong and his research team, and congratulated on the great research results Professor Mr. Ren has achieved.
On November 6th, Professor Mr. Ren published his research findings in the magazine Science , which was the first time the teacher in our university published the paper in this magazine with the first accomplished unit and the first author. The President Liu said: The key laboratory of Insect Evolution & Environmental Changes has exceptional advantages in the study on insect evolution. We are very concerned about the development in this respect and will vigorously support the construction of laboratory. We hope our teachers and students in this lab will continue to display these advantages and seize the opportunity to build the academic brand of Capital Normal University.
The President Liu also visited the Postgraduate Team 2006 master degree candidate Liu Chenxi belongs to, which had ever discovered a new species Pelecinidae of Hymenoptera and was named as Shoushida Regilla . The President Liu congratulated the team on the results the postgraduate students had achieved and wished that they could achieve greater achievements under the guidance of Professor Mr. Ren Dong.
