The 3rd National Meeting on the Luminescence of Doped Nanomaterials Concludes

From August, 10 to 14 the 3rd National Meeting on the Luminescence of Doped Nanomaterials was formally held on Yanta campus of Shaanxi Normal University (SNNU). The meeting was organized by the joint efforts of Luminescence Society of Chinese Physical Society and the Luminescence Society of Chinese Society of Rare Earths, and co-sponsored by College of Physics and Information Technology, and the MOE Key Laboratory of Applied Surface and Colloid Chemistry, at SNNU.

The 3rd National Meeting on the Luminescence of Doped Nanomaterials Concludes

This meeting mainly focused on the frontiers of academic studies on the Synthesis of Nano and Luminescence of Doped Nanomaterials, luminescent mechanism and related new effect, the application of Nano Luminescence Materials, etc.

Altogether, more than 300 hundred people were present at the meeting, among which 106 distinguished researchers and scholars coming from American Argonne National Laboratory, National University of Singapore, University of Amsterdam, University of Georgia, City University of Hong Kong, Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Fujian Institute Research on the Structure of Matter, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Peking University, Jilin University, Beijing Jiaotong University, Fudan University, and other Institutions of Higher Learning both at home and abroad.

The 3rd National Meeting on the Luminescence of Doped Nanomaterials Concludes

The success of this meeting produced a positive impetus on the research development of Luminescence nationwide. It also activated the academic atmosphere of SNNU and advanced the related research on Physics and Chemistry of SNNU, which promoted the academic influences of SNNU both at home and abroad, consequently, the construction of related disciplines in SNNU was enhanced as well.
