SCUT and CUHK co-build ASEJRC

On March 31 at the noon time, the unveiling ceremony of "SCUT and CUHK Automation Science & Engineering Joint Research Center (ASEJRC)" was held officially. The joint efforts in building this research center by universities of Guangdong Province and Hong Kong not only will help strengthen the exchange and research cooperation of the two universities with the advanced educational and scientific institutions around the world, but also will promote the research and development of automatic science and engineering.

It can also serve as the base of scientific cooperation, academic exchange, technology transfer, and talent training of the two universities. The superintendents of the joint research center stated that relevant work was under way smoothly. The center not only has applied for the project of "Jointly Building Science and Technology Innovation Platform by Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau," but also would join before December the international laboratory of "Remote Control and Operation Based on Internet" in which over 40 European countries have participated.
