On May 3, Chinese National Table Tennis player CAO Zhen, a Grade 2005 student studying at the School of Business Administration of SCUT, and her teammate LI Ping won top in the mixed doubles game in 2009 Yokohama World Table Tennis Championship (WTTC), after defeating their teammates ZHANG Jike and MU Zi BY 4-2 in the final. SCUT table tennis coach HE Qiong watched the whole competition on TV and stated with excitement that Cao had tried her best and the gold metal was of great significance.
Besides, Grade 2008 graduate student ZHANG Chao and Grade 2005 undergraduate student CHANG Chenchen, another two students from the same school and also serve as national players, won the 3rd prize in the mixed doubles.
