"Kapok in Golden Autumn" Graduates Cultural Festival unveils

On the afternoon of Oct 22, students and teachers were immersed in joy on the square in front of Liwu Science and Technology Building of SCUT, where the 16th "Kapok in Golden Autumn" Graduates Cultural Festival opened. With the theme of "Chinese dragon flies on its 60th birthday, SCUT kapok blooms on its 16th anniversary", the festival presents the fruitful achievements in 60 years after the founding of the Republic through various students activities.
Initiated in 1994, SCUT Graduate Cultural Festival is a large-scale comprehensive campus activity held by SCUT Communist Youth League Committee of Graduate Students and Graduate Student Union comprises more than 50 sub-activities, including many traditional activities such as Master's Lecture Hall, Face to Face with the Alumni, Language and Arts Competition, "Sound of the Westlake" Singing Competition, etc. This year's festival starts from Oct 22 and will last until Dec 9. More than 400 teachers and students from different schools were present at the opening ceremony.
