2010 undergraduate teaching seminar held

In his speech after listening to the participants' reports and discussions, QIU Xueqing, vice-president, hoped that the relevant education management departments and schools should pay close attention to the existing problems and take effective measures to carry out a better undergraduate teaching. He urged the schools to actively change their concepts, teach accordingly and mobilize students' activity; to set proper international development goals, provide a good platform and more opportunities for the students; to set up various kinds of innovative classes based on actual conditions and discipline characteristics; to conduct more cooperation on production, education & research integration so as to improve students' innovative and practical abilities; and to encourage the celebrity teachers and professors to give more lectures so as to ensure a high quality teaching.
