Recently, Guangdong education department has released the list of 2010 funding projects for high-qualified talents in institutions of higher education under the jurisdiction of Guangdong Province. 8 professors from South China University of Technology (SCUT) were on the list and they received a total amount of 3100,000 RMB funds.
The 8 professors were, namely, Prof. FENG Jiuchao from School of Electronic and Information Engineering, Prof. JIANG Huanfeng and Prof. FAN Shuanshi from School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Prof. ZHAO Mouming from School of Light Chemistry and Food Science, Prof. LIU Fagui from School of Computer Science and Engineering, Prof.
HU Yongyou from School of Environmental Science and Engineering, Prof. LIU Guixiong and Prof. XIA Qinxiang from School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering.
