HiFuture, a team consisting of four SCUT students from department of e-commerce at School of Economics and Trade, namely HUANG Runpeng, ZHENG Lingxiao, JIANG Zhenhao and PAN Ming, entered the Second National E-Commerce Challenge for College Students. This was the first time for SCUT to compete in the contest. Their entry, enterprise-college supply-demand marketplace, won the first prize in Guangdong zone and qualified for the national finals. The finals were held in Xi'an Jiaotong University On Dec. 11. After the statement and defence, HiFutre won the third prize.
National E-Commerce Challenge for College Students of Innovativeness, Creativeness and Entrepreneurship (abbreviated as ICE), hosted by E-Commerce professional teaching and learning steering committee for Higher Education of the Ministry of Education, is a contest for college students nationwide (including HKSAR, Macao SAR and Taiwan). It is one of the key projects of quality and reformation of teaching for undergraduates in colleges supported by Ministry of Education and Ministry of Finance.

It is learnt that ICE, held under the guidance of the department of Higher Education of Ministry of Education as well as many other ministries and commissions, was firmly supported and warmly received by local governments, enterprises and public institutions.
