From Nov.13 to 14, Asian University Presidents Forum, sponsored by Ministry of Education and Guangzhou municipal government, and organized by Department of Education of Guangdong Province and Guangzhou Education Bureau, opened at Guangzhou Dong Fang Hotel. LI Yuanyuan, SCUT president attended the forum and discussed cooperation issues with presidents of many Asian universities.
Opening simultaneously with Guangzhou Asian Games, the forum had attending presidents and leaders from a total of over 80 universities of more than 20 countries and regions.
At the forum, President LI Yuanyuan signed cooperation letter of intent with Konkun University. The two universities will cooperate in projects like students and teachers exchange etc. The project is expected to kick off next year.
