| Letter of commendation | |
Recently, SCUT received a letter of commendation from National Planning Office of Philosophy and Social Science. In the letter, Prof. LUO Shiping at School of Foreign Languages got commended for his appraisement work in National Social Science Fund Project. His strong sense of responsibility and rigorous scholarship made great contributions to objective assessment and learning style construction. Therefore, LUO was selected as one of the serious and responsible appraisal experts.
It is learned that most of the commended experts came from Chinese Academy of Social Science and some eminent universities nationwide. The commendation demonstrated the high quality of teaching and research staffs at SCUT.
