Mr. Samuel T. Mok, former Chief Financial Officer. U. S. Department of Labor Visiting JNU

On the afternoon of August 14, Mr. Samuel T. Mok, former Chief Financial Officer of U. S. Department of Labor and Managing Member of Condor International Advisors, LLC and his wife Visited Jinan University.

Mr. Mok was warmly received by President Hu Jun and Vice President Jia Yimin of the university. Dean Li Congdong of the Management School, Dean Zhang Jie of the College of Economics, Deputy Dean Zeng Yiping of College of Chinese Language and Culture and Director Yu Huifen of the International Affairs Office attended the meeting.

President Hu and the deans introduced to Mr. Mok the latest development of Jinan University. Mr. Mok thanked the hosts for the great hospitality and gave many valuable thoughts on JNU s further development including cooperation with American universities and enterprises, research on American Chinese issues and compilation of overseas Chinese textbooks.

After the meeting, Mr. Mok gave a lecture Connections and Differences between Administrative Management and Business Management in the United States to nearly 100 audiences mainly from Jinan University and Guangdong Returned Overseas Chinese Association. Vice President Jia chaired the lecture. Ms. Wang Rongbao, Chairperson of Guangdong Returned Overseas Chinese Association and other leaders from the GDROCA attended the lecture.

Following the lecture, Mr. Mok visited the main library and the university history exhibition of the university accompanied by President Hu.
