Mr. Roslan Abdul Rahaman, Consul-general of Malaysia visiting Jinan University

On the morning of March 10th, Mr. Roslan Abdul Rahaman, Consul-general of Malaysia, Consul Mr. Chai Ching Hau and Vice Consul Ms. Haniah Mohd Adenan, a group of 4 people, visited Jinan University.
Mr. Roslan Abdul Rahaman had a one-hour meeting with the Malaysia students in Jinan University, inquiring about their study and living condition. Later President Hu Jun warmly received Mr. Roslan Abdul Rahaman, and introduced to him the present situation of the university, overseas students on campus and the project of developing new campus in Guangzhou. President Hu expressed that the cooperation between Jinan University and universities in Malaysia was still at the primary stage; hoped that the two parties could establish communication soon; and expected more Malaysia students studying in Jinan. Mr. Roslan Abdul Rahaman thanked President Hu for the warm reception and appreciated the cares and concerns for students from Malaysia. Mr. Rahaman thought that the cooperation between Malaysia and Guangzhou is essential to the two countries and he welcomed the cooperation in various fields, and would be more than willing to provide with his assistance in establishing friendly relationship between Jinan and universities in Malaysia.
