Students from Confucius Institute Won Best Performance Award on RU International Day

On May 23, the annual International Day for societies and clubs of international students was held at Rhodes University. The Confucius Institute sent four students as representatives of Chinese Society to participate in the activity. They won the Best Performance Award with the repertoire they once performed in the South Africa Chinese Bridge Competition.

Prof. Peter Clayton, Vice President of RU and Chairman of the CI Council at Rhodes attended the activity and spoke highly of the CI students performance. Through this activity, the CI gained further influence on campus, attracting more students come to inquiry about the CI scholarship and exchange students programs.
