Delegation from West Pomerania Province of Poland Visiting Management School of JNU

Introduced by the Polish Consulate General in Guangzhou, a delegation from the West Pomerania Province, the Republic of Poland, consisting of six people visited Management School on the afternoon of November 10. The delegation included Mr. Witod Jablonski, Vice Governor of the Province, Mr. Zygmunt Meyer, former governor of the Province and current Vice-chairman of Economic, Infrastructure and Environmental Protection Committee of the regional parliament, Mr.

Andrzej Witkowski, Vice Rector of Szczecin University, Mr. Tadeusz Bohal, Vice Rector of Koszalin University of Technology, Mr. Edward Urbanczyk, President of Polish-Chinese Scientific and Economic Association West Pomerania-Guangdong, and Mr. Wlodzimierz Kiernozycki, Rector of the West Pomerania Technological University.

Prof. Li Congdong, Dean of Management School, Mr. Li Lijia, Deputy Director of International Affairs Office, Dr. Huang Xiang of Tourism Management Department of Management School received the delegation.

Dean Li Congdong warmly welcomed the delegation, and introduced the general situation of Jinan University and Management School. Members of the delegation briefed the universities in Szczecin, the capital city of West Pomerania, and invited leaders, teachers and students of JNU to attend the Poland-China Science and Economic Forum, which will be held in Szczecin next June. After the meeting, the delegation visited the Management Building and the campus.

West Pomeranian province is located in northwestern Poland, borders German on the West, and across the Baltic Sea with Denmark, Norway and Sweden. The area is 22.9 thousand square kilometers, and population is 1.7318 million. The capital city is Szczecin. There are 22 entry and exit ports of different types, which ranked first in Poland.
