On the morning of Oct. 13, Dutch artist, Emmie Mulder s personal painting exhibition was held on Jinan campus. This exhibition was organized by Jinan University and sponsored by the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Ms. Emmie Mulder, Dutch Artist, Prof. Hu Jun, President of JNU, Prof.
Jia Yimin, Vice President of JNU and Mr. Ton van Zeeland, Consul-General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands attended the opening ceremony and made address. Prof. Vahabi, from the VIII University of Paris, Prof. Zhu Naixiao, Director for EU Studies, Prof. Yu Huifen, Director of International Affairs Office, relevant professors, and students were invited to attend the opening as well.
Ms. Mulder expressed her gratitude to Jinan University and the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands for creating the opportunity of her visit to China. She was impressed with what she saw and experienced here and learned a lot about Chinese painting through communications with Chinese artists and students. President Hu Jun and Mr. Ton van Zeeland congratulated on the success of the exhibition and expressed their wishes for more and closer communications and exchanges between both sides in future.
After the opening, escorted by Ms. Mulder, the main guests enjoyed her works and shared her experience as an artist.
