President Hu Jun Meeting With Frank Lavin, Chairman of Public Affairs, Asia Pacific of the Edelman

On the afternoon of December 7, 2009, Prof. Hu Jun met with Mr. Frank Lavin, Chairman for Public Affairs of Asia Pacific of the Edelman Company, former Under Secretary of Commerce for International Trade of the U.S., and , former U.S. Ambassador to Singapore, Mrs. Lavin and Mr. Charles Tseng, President of Asia Pacific of the Korn/Ferry International. Mr. Li Congdong, Dean of the School of Management, Ms. Wu Jing, Assistant Dean and Mr. Li Lijia, Deputy Director of the International Affairs Office were present at the meeting.

Over the meeting, President Hu and Dean Li introduced to the guests the history and latest development of JNU and the School of Management. Then the two sides exchanged ideas over MBA education and other issues. President Hu and Dean Li also extended an invitation to Mr. Lavin to come to JNU at his earliest convenience to speak on the topic How a company go abroad .
