SYSU and Huizhou Daya Bay co-build the SYSU Research Institute of Huizhou

On the afternoon of July 13, the signing ceremony for the SYSU Research Institute of Huizhou , which is co-built by SYSU and Huizhou Daya Bay Economic and Technological Development Zone, took place at Daya Bay in Huizhou. Huang Daren, president of SYSU, and Hou Jingneng, member of Huizhou Municipal Standing Committee as well as head of Daya Baydistrict managing committee, signed the contract on behalf of the two sides respectively. Zhang Ying, standing member of Municipal party committee member of Huizhou as well as executive vice mayor, and Xia Lianghui, principal assistant of SYSU, attended the signing ceremony.

Huang Daren, president of SYSU, and Hou Jingneng, member of Huizhou Municipal Standing Committee as well as head of Daya Bay district managing committee, are signing the contract on behalf of the two sides respectively.
The SYSU Research Institute of Huizhou is the ninth research institute co-built by SYSU and the local governments in Guangdong. It is not only an important action for SYSU to implement <Reform and Development of the Pearl River Delta Region Planning Framework (2008-2020)> and actively promote the economic and social development of the Pearl River Delta region, but also a significant content of the university-city cooperation between SYSU and Huizhou. The SYSU Research Institute of Huizhou , starting from products research & development, technology innovation, project introduction, industrial consultation and education & training, will vigorously take part in the construction of modern industrial system for Daya Bay district. It will provide human resources and technological support to build Daya Bay into a word-class petrochemical industry base and a first-class national innovative development zone.
