SYSU Representatives Wang Shenming and Li Yuehan Joins Torch Relay at the University Town
On the morning of November 11th, Asian Games torch relay finally staged at Guangzhou Higher Education Mega Center. Wang Shenming, President of SYSU first affiliated hospital, handed over the torch in front of SYSU Torii on the east campus; Li Yuehan, former president of SYSU Student Union, took charge of the 42nd section torch relay. On the spot full of flying university and school flags, millions of students waved their flags along both sides of the track, cheering. Numerous students with clear discrimination and earnest practice cheer for and volunteer for the thrilling Asian Games Asian Games torch shined at Guangzhou and SYSU students cheer for it a great number of banners, flying at the North Gate Square and teaching buildings nearby on the east campus, showed students expectations for the Asian Games Torch.
